As a Father

All these years that I’ve been saved, I haven’t really understood what it means to have God as my Heavenly Father.

Just recently He started showing me:) Becoming personal. LOVVVEE IT.

The more I get to know Him, the more I fall in love.

haven’t written on you in a long time.

UPDATES-

I’ve been doing pretty good. God’s been blessing me with some pretty solid friendships with guys and gals this year at Moody Bible. This is what I felt like I lacked for most of last year. I guess it’s cuz it takes time. So thank God for this:) aha. I’ve been loving college and Chicago so much more. And I’ve been loving God and His Word more, too. :D

Just getting anxious cuz Im gonna be giving a short message at a Thanksgiving dinner event tomorrow. And I don’t know what specifically to speak about yet. Ahhh.

And this is my last weekend being a teenager. Gonna be 20 soon :o  Though I thought I said goodbye to teenhood when I turned 18…. It’s pretty confusing. I guess I’m ready. Hmmm.

Oh and World of Dance Chicago is in a week:) I got 8 cool friends that are going, too. Shall be cool. Don’t envy, Chachi-lovers. ;)

And I added Woman’s Ministry onto what I’m studying. TESOL as a major. And Woman’s Min as interdisciplinary.

Oh yeah, and I’m gonna get into painting more <3 God wants to use it.

A thing that bothers me

I see so many times James 4:7 quoted as, “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

But James 4:7 ACTUALLY says, “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

Don’t forget the first part of this verse, pleaseee. It makes a big difference. Sheesh.
